F-M Athletics Youth Football

Welcome to the Home of F-M Athletics

Fargo Athletics, Inc., was formed in 1972 to help promote youth football in the Fargo-Moorhead area.  We are proud to be celebrating our 43nd season in 2014.  We have over 1500 players registered and 68 teams this season.  The organization is a non-profit corporation and all board members are volunteers.

Registration now closed for 2014 season

Registration is now closed for the 2014 season.  Coaches have their rosters and are in the process of contacting their players.  If you have not heard from a coach by Friday, August 1st please call and we will give you contact information for the coach.  Hope everyone has a great season!  Thank you.

Baseline Concussion Testing - ages 12 & over as of 8-31-2014

The FMA Board, for the safety of your child, has implemented mandatory baseline concussion testing for all FM Athletics players, ages 12 years and older for the 2014 season (must be age 12 before 8-31-2014).  This testing will take place the week of July 28th and takes approximately 45 minutes from start to finish.  Baseline testing will be provided once every two years.  If your child has already had such a test completed last season with FM Athletics or less than two years ago through Sanford for another youth sports porgram the test would not have to be retaken.  Coaches have been provided with those on their rosters who require testing and their time scheduled.   Testing will take place at Sanford Business Center, 200 45th St SW, Fargo.  Map is below.

Important Information regarding Concussions

Please visit the following link for important educational information regarding concussions from the CDC website.   FM Athletics now requires all coaches to complete this training and provide a certificate of completion.

NEW for 2014 Heads Up Football required coach's training

FM Athletics has partnered with USA Football to participate in their 'Heads Up' football training program for coaches.  All Head Coaches will now be required to be certified and all assistant coaches are encouraged to participate. There is a discounted fee of $5.00 per coach offered through FM Athletics by using the code ' fmathletics14'.  Below is a PDF of detailed registration instructions for registering and the link to create a new membership or sign in to an existing account and renew.

Concussion follow-up information

Parents/Coaches - if your player has had their helmet taken because of a suspected concussion as determined by the Sports Medicine personnel at the game, per our rules a medical release is required before the player is allowed to get their helmet back to participate in practices and games.  Please contact our Equipment Manager, Joel Ferrie, at 701-306-2726 to make arrangements to present the release and get the helmet returned.  Thank you.

3rd Annual FM Athletics Dome Days Food Drive

FM Athletics held our 3rd Annual Dome Days Food Drive during our 2013 FM Athletics Dome Days!  We are thrilled to announce that thanks to the amazing generosity of our FM Athletic's families and fans we collected over 1100 pounds of food this year for the Great Plains Food Bank.  Thank you!!!

Equipment Return Info

If for any reason, a player still have FM Athletics equipment out, please contact our Equipment Manager, Joel Ferrie at (701) 306-2726 to make arrangements to return the equipment as soon as possible.  As acknowledged on our registration form, failure to return all issued equipment will result in a replacement charge up to $400.
