MANDATORY COACH'S MEETING

This year's MANDATORY Coach's Meeting will be held at Carl Ben Eielson Middle School, Fargo on July 30th at 6:00 PM. Food will be served at 5:30 with the meeting starting promptly at 6pm.

Please stop at Metro Rec (3110 Main Ave., Fargo) at 5:00 pm to pick up your coaching equipment before heading to Carl Ben for the meeting.

ALL COACHING DOCUMENTS WILL BE FILLED OUT ONLINE VIA THIS WEBSITE AND USA FOOTBALL.

You must complete ALL THREE items by Friday, August 8, 2025 at Midnight:

1. COACH REGISTRATION/BACKGROUND CHECK (This is a part of the Crossbar registration below and NOT a part of your USA Football training. Do not pay for a background check!) 

2. COACH'S CONTRACT 

3. USA FOOTBALL CERTIFICATION (TACKLE CERTIFICATION, USA FOOTBALL LINK). Be sure you set your Organization as FARGO MOORHEAD ATHLETICS YOUTH FOOTBALL. (This is how it links to us and we are able to see that you've completed your training.)

The first 5 coaches to complete their registration and training are the coaches that will receive a lanyard.

Coaches completing the certification for the first time will complete our Level 1 Tackle Certification.

Returning coaches will be automatically assigned to take the Level 2 Tackle Recertification. 

​​​​​​​Coaches can access the certification by following the steps below or by referencing the attached instructions.

• Go to USA Football Youth Certification
• Certifications are flag and tackle specific. Coaches completing the certification for the first time will complete our Level 1 flag or tackle certification, while returning coaches will be automatically assigned to take the Level 2 flag or tackle recertification. Coaches can access the certification by following the steps below. Coaches must complete all modules to be certified.
• Step 1: Create or Login to USA Football account
• Step 2: Associate with Organization
• Located at the top of your dashboard, select Organizations
• Review and update 'Your Organizations'
• Unless already associated, under 'Find New Organizations', locate: Fargo Moorhead Athletics Youth Football
• Next to the organization, select 'Associate'
• Step 3: Purchase Certification
• Go to your Learning Center
• Click "Learn More" underneath your preferred youth certification 
• Click on "Get Certified"
• Click "Continue to Payment"
• Insert credit card info
• Click "Validate Price"
• Click "Confirm & Purchase"
• Start Certification
• Click "Learn More" under either Flag or Tackle Certification.
• Click on "Get Certified"
• Click "Continue to Payment"
• Put in Credit Card info to pay $15.
• Click "Sign Up For Course!"
• Start Certification

All of these items must be completed...before you will be issued a coach's lanyard.

If you have NOT registered and do not have a lanyard, you are ineligible to be in the coach's box at games.
